Does Welchol interact with other medications or foods?
Welchol has known interactions with cyclosporine, glimepiride, glipizide, glyburide, levothyroxine, certain birth control pills, olmesartan medoxomil, and metformin extended-release (ER). Welchol has not been studied with all combinations of drugs and supplements.
