Is QUT accepting international students?
QUT College offers academic and English language pathway programs that can help you get into the course you want. If you don’t meet the entry requirements for your chosen course, or you just want to build your English language skills, QUT College can help you become a confident English speaker, ready to study at QUT.
What is QUT student number?
When you commence study with us, we’ll provide you with a student number and this number will appear on your ID card and any official QUT correspondence. It’s also the number you use to log in to the HiQ website. If your login username is n1234567, then your student number will be 1234567.

Is QUT closed?
All QUT branch libraries remain open. You can chat to a librarian via phone, email or online. If you need more information or would like help, contact QUT Library. While face-to-face HiQ on campus is currently closed you can still contact HiQ via chat, email and phone.

Can international students return to QUT?
This plan will allow a limited number of international students to return to Queensland gradually and safely. When you study at QUT, you’re not just getting a university experience. On top of our internationally accredited courses, award-winning teaching staff, and vibrant inner-city campuses, you’ll also be joining our QUT community.

The Division of International leads QUT’s international outreach. The Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President (International) is Professor Scott Sheppard.
